LSS Data Systems' C/S MPM Version 5.6.4 EHR Receives ONC-ATCB Certification by Drummond Group

WESTWOOD, MA, January 24, 2011 -- LSS Data Systems' Client/Server Medical and Practice Management (MPM) v5.6.4 Electronic Health Record has received the federal government's "meaningful use" stamp of approval by earning complete EHR ambulatory certification.

The designation officially deems the electronic health record (EHR) software capable of enabling providers to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program, the EHR software is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

MEDITECH Receives EHR Certification for 6.0 Platform

WESTWOOD, MA, January 20, 2011 -- MEDITECH's 6.0 Health Care Information System (HCIS) version 6.05 Electronic Health Record has received complete EHR inpatient certification. Now, all three of MEDITECH's platforms--MAGIC, Client/Server, and 6.0--are certified through the Drummond Group, under the Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program.

BRAINTREE, MA, December 6, 2010 -- Summit Healthcare, a leader in healthcare system integration and task automation, has partnered with Citizens Memorial Healthcare, a full service acute care hospital located in Bolivar, Missouri.  Citizens Memorial runs MEDITECH as its primary healthcare information system and is proud to have reached a Stage 7 EMR Adoption Status.  Citizens Memorial IT leadership sees an opportunity to cut costs by maximizing its interface investments now and for the future.

Citizens Memorial Healthcare had been investigating ways to expand integration with clinical systems while still controlling integration costs. CMH came to evaluate the Summit Healthcare interface engine technology as one way to help the organization gain control of its interface environment and automate processes.  After careful evaluation, Citizens will be implementing the Summit Healthcare interface engine, Summit Express Connect . Express Connect will enable CMH to lay a foundation to meet its strategic interconnectivity goals by leveraging its existing interfaces.
