Position Profile:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a fast learner to design, analyze and coordinate the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of all related healthcare information systems as well as provide assistance/backup to the IT Department. Reporting to the IT Director, you will be expected to provide start-up and on-going support to users through troubleshooting, testing, training and understanding of the MEDITECH modules and other hospital software, apply MEDITECH Magic programming and NPR report writing and provide guidance and support to all phases of assigned applications.

Qualifications:

This key assignment requires a team player with an Associate's degree or equivalent (BA in CS preferred), experience with systems analysis and design, database concepts, cost/benefit analysis, applications and programming, and good communication and Microsoft Products skills. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in systems/application design and analysis, programming, testing and documentation and 5 years of experience in progressively responsible assignments in a healthcare environment. Experience with MEDITECH, SQL, Java and Visual Basic are highly preferred. HTML skills would be helpful.
