About the Department:
The Centura Health IT Applications Department provides support across all 12 hospitals, seven senior residences, home care and hospice services, and our headquarters. Current or near future projects include developing IT strategy and solutions for Pharmacy, ED, and Centura’s physicians and allied health providers; and implementing the Meditech Risk/Quality Module.
Position Profile:
As a Meditech Applications Analyst at Centura Health, you will develop IT strategy and solutions. You would work to determine project requirements; modify software; test changes for functionality, stability and usability; assist in development and implementation of training sessions and communication materials; work with vendors on system upgrades; conduct data mining and reporting; and/or share 24x7 support of end users responding to their questions and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree)
- 2+ years of systems analysis and design experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred
