North Adams Regional Hospial, a full-service community hospital in North Adams, Massachusetts, is a member of Northern Berkshire Healthcare (NBH). NBH is the primary healthcare provider for Northern Berkshire County in Massachusetts. A private, not-for-profit organization, our health services to the northwest Massachusetts and southwest Vermont.

NBH is the second-largest employer in northern Berkshire County, Massachusetts, with an employee base of approximately 550 employees in four locations. About the Department:

We are a MEDITECH Magic 5.64 environment. Future projects include implementation of MEDITECH's CPOE (POM) and Data Repository (DR). Our IT staff works in a close-knit team and presently has 9 members.

Position Profile:

Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the Analyst will provide primary support for the Data Repository System and Meditech reporting functions. They will be responsible for requested SQL and NPR reports. Providing high quality customer service and support, the analyst will be responsible for developing and designing workflow processes and translating them into IT solutions as needed. Analyst will meet periodically with managers to ensure that functionality in place is meeting the department needs and is working properly. Analyst will work with the manager (or designee) to resolve any issues and/or develop any new processes. Analyst will provide end user training and go live support during implementation. Analyst may be responsible for project management of any given initiative. Analyst will work with all levels of staff (clinical, professional, or administrative) on the development and rollout of solutions. Analyst will also serve as a back up to the eHealth support analyst, learning and understanding functions and process flows for that system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Required. Knowledge of multiple data base structures. Experience with basic concepts of using a Data Repository system, including implementation. In-depth knowledge of SQL Server and Database, Certification highly preferred or expected shortly after hire. Experience with report writing, using MEDITECH NPR, SQL, Cognos, Scripting Software, Crystal Reports. Knowledge of software or query languages strongly preferred.
