We are a not-for-profit hospital governed by a Board of Trustees composed of dedicated community volunteers.  Silverton Hospital offers a comprehensive mix of services, many of which are not typically available in a small rural hospital.  They include 64-Slice Computed Tomography (CT), Sleep Lab, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiography, and an innovative program to prevent and reverse heart disease.

Our creed, Committed to Compassionate Care for our Communities, is more than just words.  We treat each individual as part of our family.  Our quality of care and patient satisfaction have earned us several national awards.  We were named one of the nations Top 100 Hospitals as well as being the first Oregon hospital to receive the J.D. Power Award for service excellence.

About the Location:

Close enough to the big city for convenience and far enough away for peace of mind, Silverton offers an ideal environment to raise a family and enjoy life.

Established in 1854, this agricultural center is located about 42 miles south of Portland and just 25 minutes from Oregon's capital, Salem.  Sparkling Silver Creek meanders through town after cascading down 10 breathtaking waterfalls in nearby Silver Falls State Park.

In the heart of Silverton you’ll also find elegant historic homes, charming shops and restaurants, and all the modern amenities you require. But its best feature is its inhabitants – their smiles say "hometown".

Silverton is ideally located for those who relish what Oregon has to offer.  In less than two hours, you can be at the beautiful Oregon coast.  In three hours, you can hike, bike and camp in sunny central Oregon.  You can also enjoy winter sports and recreation there, or you can head north and enjoy world-class skiing at Mt. Hood, less than two hours from Silverton.

Want some urban energy?  Drive north 45 minutes and you are in beautiful Portland, Oregon known for its music, arts and restaurant scene.  You'll find several "cities" within this city.  From the historic renovated waterfront to the Pearl District where residents, retail and restaurants happily coexist, Portland has something to offer everyone.
